End-of-Summer produce at its best! It started with some gorgeous produce from Pepper Place. The garlic was ‘heirloom.’ I’m not sure about the vendor’s claims, but it did have a much deeper taste than typical ‘soft neck’ garlic.

I cut the tomatoes in half and put them on low heat so they would be soft enough to run through a food mill.

Then I cut up the red bell pepper…
